Full description
These beautiful drop earrings were created from sterling silver wire, 1mm thick , carefully wound to the desired shape. I used a Wire Designer jig - a plastic block drilled with holes at regular intervals and a set of steel pins which fit into the holes to make a pattern which the wire loops around. This was my first experiment with the technique. When the design was complete I hammered the metal to harden it, then added ear hooks which were also made by hand. The earrings have a drop of 2.5 inches/6.5cm and their width is 1 inch/2.5cm. They will be packaged in a cardboard gift box or a pretty organza bag and despatched by Royal Mail first class service.
