Raku Bauble. These Raku baubles are handmade after which I Raku fire them in my own kiln. I love the Raku process as the nature of the firing makes each one completely unique.

Full description
Handmade Raku fired bauble. I slip cast into a mould then fettle the seam lines. I then add texture and after drying they are bisque fired. Glazes applied then fired in my Raku kiln to around 980 degrees using tongs to put them into a pot of sawdust. When cooled they are then cleaned and the silver coloured fittings added. Ready to hang on the tree. Approximate size 11cm x5cm.
