Painting and dyeing fabric, a glorious way to explore colour. The fabric comes alive, what started as a strange orange colour is transformed by bright pinks, yellows, reds and blues. Then, there are the colours that are discovered in-between.
The finished fabric is perfect for choosing small pieces for sewing to make these fun, individual brooches.

Full description

Three red roses. A hand stitched art work using my own dyed fabrics, a silver frame to surround the red roses. These have been hand sewn onto a painted oxford blue background. The stems and leaves were machine stitched in black.

The fabric was originally household linen that was worn in places. I dyed the fabric to make my brooches and purses.

The brooch measures 3cm, 1.8" diameter and comes ready to gift in an eco friendly presentation box.
