Pottery serving bowl glazed in ice blue.
This bowl is 8.6 inches (22 cm) in diameter and 5.3 inches (13.5 cm) in height. Sometimes with handmade objects things don't go as expected and with this bowl the glaze has run too much on the bottom edge.
This serving bowl is ideal for using as a fruit bowl or serving salads. It's simple shape has been hand etched across the surface with a fluting tool to catch the glaze in the grooves. The bowl features a sweeping curve with high sides and foot ring on the bottom. It has been glazed in ice blue which has a glossy finish to the touch. This piece can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
