I am a huge fan of the beach - I love everything about the seaside and I never tire of trying to represent it in my art.
Sometimes I work from my own photos (with a bit of artistic licence) other times I use my imagination.

Full description
Containing real sand, stones, shells and sand dollars, this mixed media painting is an original representation of an untouched portion of beach at dawn.
I have created it on a wooden round which is 25.5cm in diameter and 1.5cm thick
It is a weighty piece which is why I have securely attached a brass loop on the reverse so it can hang on a nail or hook easily. It can be wall mounted or allow the hook to flip down and rest it on a stand on a surface.
This textural piece is hugely tactile and is made with acrylic, ink, eco friendly resin, white sand, white pebbles and stones, shells, sand dollars, mini starfish and glass chunks.
