This 10cm Period Pad Sticker says 'Not a luxury' and is a Feminist protest. This larger vinyl sticker would make a great First period gift and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use as it's a Matt vinyl sticker.

I created this design to remind us that periods are not a luxury, so period products should not be taxed. While the so called 'tampon tax' was abolished in the UK, the companies simply no longer had to pay 5% VAT. They were under no pressure to pass this discount onto consumers.

When the big news about tampons and period pads using materials that could cause damage to your health was announced, I tried to make the change to organic. Due to the risks of TSS makers of organic sanitary products don't make the higher absorbency options. I found I was buying twice as many at a higher price bracket. So to use products that are better for your health, you have to buy large quantities of the premium products just to reach the level you were at before. Periods are not a luxury, and neither should the products be.
