This product was inspired by my memories of collecting interesting buttons and bits of ribbon as a child. My mum would let me choose a single button or small embellishment from the haberdashery when we went out, and I would have loved somewhere to store them all.

A great way for children to learn to sew - by filling this rainbow Stitchbook full of colourful fabric and embellishments.
This pack comes with a booklet of basic sewing instructions, appliqué template sheet and a pack of fabrics, ribbons and buttons to get you started.
To complete your book you will also need to collect some of your own materials. You can use anything colourful that you can cut up and sew - fabric scraps and old clothes are perfect! You can use craft materials such as fun foam, felt and sequins.
You will also need: Access to basic sewing equipment, eg. needles, coloured thread and scissors.
The book has my unique folding page design which allows you to open the page when sewing, and close the page to hide the tails and threads after sewing. Great for beginner sewers as you can make the back of the work as messy as you like!
Rainbow Stitchbook measures 16cm x 16cm (6 1/4" x 6 1/4") excluding binding rings and has 8 felt pages in 6 colours (4 folded felt sections).
