I just love robins. They're such a cute little garden bird that always makes me smile when they visit. I make a lot of robins as Christmas dcorations but wanted to try something a bit different with these 2. I think it sets them off really well displayed on this wooden log slice.

Full description
This free standing fused glass ornament of 2 adorable baby robins was created by hand using specialist Bullseye glass. I create all my work myself in my glass studio in Southampton, Hampshire.
The various coloured sheets of glass are all hand cut and layered together to create the initial robin shapes. The tiny wire feet are then added and the finer details are hand painted onto the glass. They are then carefully placed in the kiln to be fired. Its fired to a very high temperature for the glass to fully fuse together. The glass is annealed slowly at each stage to ensure its strength and durability.
The finished ornament measures approximately 7cm high x 9.5cm wide including the log base. The glass robins themselves measure approximately 3.5cm high x 3.5cm wide.
This cute ornament can be displayed on a window sill, fireplace, desk or even a simple shelf to show off its design. Its perfect to give as a small gift to friends and family or to treat yourself to help decorate your own home or office.
Not recommended for children under 3 years.
