'Wren' is an original linocut print of a bold Jenny Wren, one of our smallest yet loudest British birds, handprinted in rich black ink.
Specifications:
Paper size 20x20cm/8x8 for easy framing.
Print area approx 14x14cm.
Printed on archival printmaking paper using oil based inks.
Each print is titled and signed by the artist (me!).
Open edition.
Hows it's made:
This is an original piece of art (not a digital reproduction), handcrafted from beginning to end. Once the design is carved into the lino, I pull each print individually using traditional hand-burnishing techniques. Due to the variations in pressure and ink, each print is truly unique and may be slightly different from the photographed example.
