Knit a whole snuggle pile of stripy sloths with this knitting pattern- their long arms and legs mean they can also be posed hanging upside down from something too.
We used a ball each of Rico Essentials Mega Wool Chunky in Orange (005) and Lavender (023) but you can use any chunky weight yarn you fancy for these stripy toys (With this recommended yarn you’ll be able to make two sloths, with plenty of Lavender left over) Sloths measure 30cm tall when completed.
You will also need:
- 4.5 mm straight knitting needles
- Toy stuffing
- Darning needle
- Sharp sewing needle
- Brown and black felt scraps
- Black cotton
- A pair of 9mm black toy safety eyes with click on backs for each sloth
Knitted flat (no knitting in the round needed) this pattern is suitable for knitters of all skill levels. Sloth measures 30cm tall when completed.
