I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £257.56 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £237.06 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 8/11/24.

Full description
A beautiful little freshwater pearl necklace in a natural pale ivory colour. It would look wonderful on a bride, and equally lovely with a pretty summer outfit. They are fairly small pearls, each 5.5 to 6mm long. The pearls are described as rice pearls: elongated in shape, with a very good surface and lustre. They are of varying shape, but the variations aren’t huge and this only serves to give them an organic and genuine look.
I have strung these pearls on silk: the traditional medium, and have knotted between each pearl, an old-fashioned technique that ensures a good drape and also security in the unlikely event that the silk breaks.
I have finished the necklace with sterling silver findings: a tiny bead, French wire (gimp) and a lobster claw clasp.
The necklace is 47.2cms (18.6 ins) long.
The necklace will be sent wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and posted in a sturdy cardboard box for safe travel.
WHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM £7 WILL BE DONATED TO TOYBOX, A CHARITY HELPING STREET CHILDREN ACROSS THE GLOBE. This amount is calculated by subtracting materials and admin costs from the price of the item. I do not charge for my time in making it.
