EACH PIECE IS SET INTO A BOX FRAME THAT IS
14" x 14" x 1.5" DEEP.
The felt area is 12" wide.
Colours - Plum, Purple, Lilac, Mauve, White, Silver Grey, Grey, Charcoal, Black.
Material - Felt
Handmade using felt remnants, each 'blob' is individually stuffed and sewn on to a canvas, which is then fixed in to a wooden box frame.
This series of tonal artworks are a gradation of multicolour tones.
They are ready to hang.
Initially using nature as a reference, these felt blob pieces were inspired by walks on my local beach, where with each change in tide, pebbles appeared and disappeared at the mercy of the sea.
Pebbles are incredibly tactile, even under foot, and these pieces of art aim to replicate that.
