I love the idea of bringing my animal paintings to life, and imagining them doing the things that we love to do, in this painting the Belted Galloway cows are exchanging their Christmas gifts in the snowy forest landscape, and the lady cow has a bemused expression on her face because her gift is very small compared to the one she is about to receive from her partner.
