Full description
An original acrylic painting of Ploshcha Rynok - the market square in the centre of Lviv's Old Town (a UNESCO world heritage site). The artwork features a section of buildings from the western side of the square. The street scene is painted in a simplified way, which shows the mix of colours and slightly different sizes to all of the buildings. Although stylised so there isn't too much detail, there are small hints to show that the buildings are in various different architectural styles, the combination of all these differences gives the square a wonderfully quaint look. In front of the line of buildings is a cobbled street with a tabby cat looking across at them, Above the quiet city scene the sky is a clear turquoise blue.
This Ukrainian city scene is painted in acrylics on a 30.5cm x 20cm (12" x 8") canvas, with 3.5cm (1.3") deep edges. The cityscape carries on over the edges so the painting doesn't need to be framed, and there is a string attached to the back so i's ready to hang on a wall.
The original art will be securely packaged with bubblewrap and cardboard to prevent any damage during postage, and will be sent tracked and signed within the UK or tracked internationally.
If sold, 25% of the item price of this painting will be donated to AUGB's Help Ukraine fund.
