Leather wallet - would make an ideal gift. Compact enough to slip into your pocket or handbag this unisex leather wallet is lightweight and beautiful. The Monty wallet is handcrafted using Italian leathers from the world renowned Conceria Walpier and Badalassi tanneries using Badalassi Pueblo and Buttero in black. It’s lightweight so perfect for an everyday carry.
The wallet is hand sewn using traditional saddle stitching with Ritza Tiger waxed thread in orange for superior strength. The edges are burnished so it retains its natural oils and won’t dry out. Because full grain leather is used it means the hide has not been buffed or sanded to remove any marks so colourings and texture will vary from piece to piece as all are unique and with care should last a lifetime.
Every aspect of the process is crafted by hand, cutting, punching, saddle stitching, bevelling and burnishing.
