Inspired by the poppies growing in my garden, I painted this, as often the wind and rain blow away the petals after a day or two of flowering. I love the shapes within the poppies and also look forward to Autumn when the seed heads are brown and crunchy, ready to crumble and self seed.
I aim to make affordable art for everyone and think an original painting makes a great gift.

Full description
This is an A4 Original watercolour painting of poppies painted on premium watercolour paper (180 gsm) with artists gouache paint. It comes with a card mount and frame which measures 25cm x 30 cm with the aperture measuring approx 18cm x 23.5 and is wrapped in a clear, cello sleeve. This would make a lovely gift for yourself or to give away. The painting is bright and vibrant and captures the bold poppies in full flower. Each painting is an original and has been signed and a hand written note from myself is included.
Please note, whilst every effort is made to photograph the colours accurately, individual screen settings vary.
