I love these fluorite beads with their almost luminous translucency and gorgeous range of colours.
Fluorite has been called 'the most colourful mineral in the world' because it can be found in all colours of the spectrum.
A translucent stone, the most commonly found shades are green, purple, yellow, and blue.
Fluorite was associated with the Roman goddess Minerva, Goddess of Wisdom.
It was thought to stimulate the brain, bringing harmony, clarity and calm.
Amethyst (purple quartz) is the birthstone for Aquarius and February, and the stone for the 6th and 17th wedding anniversaries.
Amethyst is thought to bring inner peace and tranquility, and promote emotional stability.

Pretty necklace in pastel shades of greens, pinks and purples.
As a centrepiece I have used seven Lilac Amethyst rough cut oval nuggets, separated by tiny 2mm gold vermeil beads.
Gold vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with 18k gold.
The Amethyst nuggets are of variable sizes, approximately 7-9mm long.
They are a lovely, translucent lilac colour, with natural darker inclusions and imperfections.
The necklace then graduates from 6mm to 4mm beads of Rainbow Fluorite.
These translucent beads seem filled with light, and have a beautiful array of colours - pastel greens, aqua, palest pinks and soft purples.
The necklace fastens with a Tibetan style rose toggle clasp in antique gold.
This clasp is nickel and lead free.
This necklace measures approximately 16 inches (41cm).
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
