I photographed the real human skull in this image in a home built dark box to get the dramatic lighting I wanted before I turned it into a charcoal drawing. Along with the sleeping bat, this was one of my first pieces to get its own merchandise range and cards are always the first thing I produce as so many people collect them to create gallery walls.
