Most of the drawings that I did of the Saltwick Bay area centred around the wreck of the Admiral van Tromp with Black Nab somewhere in the background. This imposing stack deserved to be the centre of attention and so I created a small run of drawings capturing it in different light. I love this one - layers of greys and black like the shale the nab is made of and I can almost hear the soft whispers of the sea and the rain on the rocks.
