Teasels are one of my favourite native wildflowers, especially in autumn/winter when their skeletal forms are a beautiful addition to the landscape. I captured this one reflected in a droplet of water as part of my Reflections series, a collection of 60 original charcoal drawings exhibited in Newcastle this summer.

Please note - the images show a signed print, each will also be hand numbered from 1 to 50 and come with a signed certificate of authenticity detailing the work, I've shown a sample certificate for reference.

Just 50 prints have been created of this drawing, on eco friendly paper, bagged with a crisp white mount and backing board, 6" square (148mm x 148mm). Most presold, 10 or less are available of selected drawings.

Reflections started years ago when I was taking photographs after a storm. I became fascinated with the reflections of landscapes and objects captured within but never really did anything with it. When I moved to Newcastle, I wanted to put on a show here and realised I could combine those images with new ones from the north east - next thing I knew, I had 60 drawings to do!
