There's a lady in this lake - well, when I say lady... her habitat is freshwater and so I based her watery home on a photograph I took of Loe Pool in Cornwall, a fascinating spot as the lake you see between the trees is separated from the sea only by a sand and shingle bar. This is an archive quality reproduction of my original charcoal illustration.

Full description
This gothic horror illustration features a mermaid - you have to look to catch a glimpse of her but don't look too hard. The freshwater ones have attitude! I love the woodcut-esque feel of this one, the lake framed by trees. It would make for a beautiful addition to a myths and legends gallery wall.

The print is framed ready to hang in a smart black frame made using mdf - an eco friendly alternative to wood created using leftover sawdust, and acrylic safety glazing. Print area size 12" wide by 18" high, frame size 16" x 22".
