This design was inspired by a walk around St Mary's Isle, Kirkcudbright in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland - the view across the bay with Ross Island in the distance. Embroidering the rocks added some detail to the foreground, which was really fun to do and the sky and sea are one piece of batik fabric. This is the view on a grey sky day. The whole front is freemotion quilted. Another well known view of the area. Royal Mail First Class Postage of £5.55 is included
