I've been listening to a lot of sea shanties as the background to a roleplaying game I'm in. I guess it spilled over into my crafting.

A mixed fibre hand blended batt - 'Mermaid'
A beautiful blend of watery blue and green shades shot through with rainbow trilobal nylon. The base fibre is my own blend of corriedale, merino and silk. Here I have added rainbow trilobal nylon for an exciting shimmer and is far softer than angelina.
To be accurate, the percentages are as follows:
40% corriedale
29% merino
21% trilobal nylon
10% tussah silk
This fibre is perfect for spinning, felting or any variety of crafts. I'm sensitive to the scratch that some wool has but I can wear this blend on my neck with no problems.
The listing is for one batt of at least 50g and there are two available which were blended from the same batch of fibre and carefully balanced if you need a larger amount.
Please note that whilst I try to accurately reflect the true colours of the fibre, these can vary between monitors.
