I love playing with colour and whilst pink isn't my thing, blending colours together can create great things. As for where the name comes from - she just looked like a Maude to me :)

Corriedale, Merino, Silk hand painted top - 'Maude'
A lovely mix of blues, purples and red in a semi-solid braid. I love this blend for its soft handle when spinning. My own blend of Corriedale, Merino and silk makes the yarn it creates perfect for soft garments next to the skin. I'm sensitive to the scratch that some wool has but I can wear this blend on my neck with no problems. This fibre is perfect for spinning, felting or any variety of crafts.
This braid is hand dyed with professional acid dyes (not nearly as scary as it sounds, the acid is vinegar).
The listing is for one braid of approximately 100g. It is a one of a kind colourway, so when it's gone, it's gone.
Please note that whilst I try to accurately reflect the true colours of the fibre, these can vary between monitors.
