I'm terrible at crochet, and I can't knit at all, but in 2019 I was invited to take my jewellery to a local fair, celebrating all things yarny, called Wild About Wool.
I wanted to make some specific items that would be of interest, and whilst I thought about tiny balls of woo/ and needles for necklaces and earrings, I remembered something my nan used to have. My granddad had adjusted her tailor's thimble to put a curve in it, to help her separate her wool when knitting. I must have been under 7, because my great grandmother was still living with them at this point.
I only remember the ring from the one visit, and none of them remain today to help me with my memory. I tried to replicate the principle, and created these, adjustable, sterling silver Hooker Rings.
Since lockdown, I started to crochet, and I've found that what my customers have been saying is true - these really do help me with with tension and removed the cramp completely.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

This listing is for an individually, handcrafted, custom stamping, solid sterling silver, fully adjustable HookerRing to reduce cramp and aid with evening tension from the yarn ball to the work.
Choose the word you'd like me to to stamp (I can fit about 13 letters, if you don't want any other patterning) and the design you'd like on the remaining band and the little yarn loop.

All my hooker rings are adjustable, so unlike with a regular ring, you don't need to measure precisely - standard will fit most people with room for expansion, but as I'm making this one just for you, do tell me the size you'd like it set to
Standard: adjustable from UK D to Q, set at about UK G (USA 3.75)
Small: adjustable up to to a K, set at about UK D (USA 2)
Large: Adjustable up to Zplus1, set at about UK R (USA 8.75)
