Butterfly motif plate in shades of blue. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery.
This plate is approximately 9.2 inches (23.5 cm) in diameter.
Hand thrown on my potters wheel this stoneware plate features a summertime butterfly motif. The flat plate has a shallow sided ledge and has been glazed in a glossy transparent to allow the slip decoration to show through. The butterflies have been hand painted on the surface in navy and pale blue. This plate would make a beautiful handmade addition to your kitchen serving bread rolls and maybe a piece or two of cake at lunchtime!
