A handcrafted A5 watercolour sketchbook, bound in the Coptic stitch style and covered with beautiful purple hand marbled paper.
This sketchbook has 28 sides of 300gsm cold-pressed (NOT) watercolour paper, comprising 7 folios each with 4 sides. Each folio spine is wrapped with a narrow band of khadi paper.
Coptic Stitch is one of the most ancient forms of exposed spine binding. Beautiful to look at and deceptively strong. This binding allows the book to rest flat when open, making it ideal for artists.
These sketchbooks are perfect for artists working from home, studio or on the go.
The book is cut, folded, glued and stitched by me, entirely by hand.
Dimensions: A5 landscape - 21 x 15cm approximately.
The photographs represent the colours as closely as possible but, of course, monitors, screens and devices do vary.
