I am taking a break over Christmas and the New Year.

All the items are hand sewn by me. I am increasingly thinking about sustainability with my work and am including more repurposed projects, and trying to use organic and natural fibres and fabrics.

I hate waste and had a small piece of this fabric left from another project. It took me a while to source the linen tape and I really pleased with the result.

Full description
This small crossbody bag is sewn using all natural materials.
The leaf design fabric is a cotton linen; the bag is lined with a coordinating purple cotton and I have added a small inside pocket in the same fabric. To add strength, the outer fabric is interfaced with a cotton interfacing which also reduces creasing.
For the strap I have chosen a lovely natural linen tape and added wooden beads at both ends.
Some detail on the front of the bag is picked out with recycled glass beads.
Ideal for when you just need your credit card, phone and some lippy!
Size is approx 8" x 6", strap 48".
