Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with paints, fabric, collage and clay and particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

This colourful, rhyming picture book is a great way to bring the fun of the Olympics to young children and teach them about a range of sports.
In 2012, Words for Life, part of the National Literacy Trust, included The Champion Hare in its top 10 Olympic books for children.
It tells the story of a young hare who enters a sports contest. The competition is tough and he soon finds himself racing a cheetah and throwing shot put against a gorilla. Despite entering numerous events and always trying his best the little hare never quite manages to come first, but he never gives up or becomes downhearted. There is a lovely twist at the end when he discovers that if you want to be a champion, nothing beats a bit of perseverance.
The book measures 21.5 x 28cm. It is 32 pages including cover and is staple bound.
