Full description
'Crow Moon' is an original linocut print of a handsome crow at the last full moon of winter, printed by hand in rich black ink. One of the names for the full moon in March is Crow Moon as it's thought the cawing of the crows signalled the end of winter.
Specifications:
Paper size 25x25cm/10"x10" for easy framing.
Print area approx 22.5x21.5cm.
Printed on acid free printmaking paper using oil based inks.
Each print is titled and signed by the artist (me!).
Open edition.
Hows it's made:
This is an original piece of art (not a digital reproduction), handcrafted from beginning to end. Once the design is carved into the lino, I pull each print individually using traditional hand-burnishing techniques. Due to the variations in pressure and ink, each print is truly unique and may be slightly different from the photographed example.
Please note colours may vary slightly from digital image.
