Original nautical artwork in acrylic, painted on burnished Urban Driftwood.
A unique canvas that's been created from recycled wood brings movement to the picture, capturing the fight as the wind tares at the stretched linen sail. The cries of the gulls screech like banshees as the white tips of the waves are sliced by the bow. The wood groans from the displeasure of the taught grip of braided rope, the force that forever drives you forward in an unrelenting search for clean water.
Size: 22" x 8".
Beautifully painted Sloop catching the wind on recycled wood. The nature of the broken burnished wood gives the canvas a stark background, highlighting the colours of the painting.
This has been varnished for indoor decoration only.
