My design was inspired many years ago by watching how the wild birds pull out worms and grubs from the soil with their narrow beaks.
This tool is created by two craft processes forging and woodturning.
I even use one of these tools myself in my garden!

Blacksmith forged hook and wood turned handle
A useful tool to hook underneath weed roots and lift them out without damaging other plants in pots or borders. It can also be used to scrape between paving slabs.
