This woodcut print depicts Godzilla, reimagined as a medieval woodcut.
The design was carved into a 10mm piece of lime wood.
Cranfield oil-based ink on hand-stained Smooth Khadi cotton rag 210gsm
37.5 x 28.5cm (deckled edges)
Edition of 50
Each print has its own idiosyncrasies due to the traditional printing process, making each piece completely unique. The paper is hand-stained by me with an alkaline tea solution, with each sheet exhibiting different marks and shades of colour.
