Quiff Linen dolls are Art dolls, they are meticulously crafted sculptures that are designed to be admired rather than played with. These dolls are created skillfully using a wide range of materials and techniques. Each doll is unique, reflecting Quiff Linen's style and vision. Due to the amount of time and skill required to make them, they do appear expensive, but they are truly works of art.
Please note Quiff Linen has had to take an enforced break which will cause a delay in the release of new artwork. In the meantime please feel free to contact me with any query.
When designing and creating my Quiff Linen dolls, I have a specific process I always follow. First, I search through my fabrics and choose a design that fits my theme. Then, I gather complementary materials and decide if my Quiff Linen will have a feminine or masculine appearance. Once that is determined, I give my creation a name and begin painting the face, taking into consideration the character's unique characteristics. After completing these steps, I meticulously evolve my Quiff Linen, paying close attention to every detail.
I had a great time creating Wild Willy's grunge appearance, especially crafting his kilt. It required a lot of time and patience, but the finished product was definitely worth it. Grrrr.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Wild Willie MacGinger is the name and I am a Celtic warrior ready to fight.
I am meticulously designed and handcrafted with attention to detail. If you are fascinated with Celtic history and or re-enactments or know someone who is. Don't fight it, choose me as your perfect Celtic collectable.
I am proud to say that all of my painted linen, felted items, kilt, and other clothing, are authentic and crafted by my creator.
My fierce and fiery appearance is thanks to the hand-painted linen that makes up my face; my wild hair is made of wool and flax topped off with my scruffy signature flax quiff.
My body is dressed in an ancient Celtic kilt, intricately pleated and folded from one piece of tartan fabric! I had to be mauled to the ground during the process, that was fun, so brutal. My kilt covers most of my grimy shirt which has not seen soap and water for months!
My arms lack joints and my hands have dirty fingernails that would impress any warrior. I have jointed legs that are designed for combat. Equipped with a sword and a hand-felted wool shield, I am now fully prepared for battle.
I am filled with leftover scraps of fabric and toy filling. A wax seal bearing my maker's unique design authenticates me.
Sorry, I am not a toy and not suitable for children.
I am approx. 20" in length. My girth is large as I eat lots of haggis and neeps!
While I hate to be washed, a quick dusting will do the trick. Just so you know, my clothing cannot be removed.
