I love making vases as I love gardening and am always picking flowers, it’s so nice to just have a few of my favourite flowers dotted about the house and perfect for small spaces.

Handmade stoneware budvase.
A handmade carved vase glazed with an opaque Ocean Green glaze, showing through the rustic clay body.
As this is a handmade item there will be natural imperfections which are to be embraced and part of the enjoyment of a handcrafted item.
Made by myself in my little Essex studio.
Each item is a four week process from throwing to carving, first firing and glazing then to final firing.
Stoneware clay body.
