I have recently started diversifying and adding more crafts to my repertoire and I am thoroughly enjoying using mixed media to create lots of new pieces including this pretty roses box.

Full description
This cream vintage style wooden trinket box has been created using mixed media.
There are painted roses and rosebuds in various shades of pink on the lid and around the bottom of all sides of the hexagon.
The inside is painted in cream with pretty roses decoupage paper inside the hinged lid. I have used gold wax paste to add highlights and accents all over the box.
I have glazed the box inside and out with matt varnish to protect it.
The box measures 16cm at its widest point and is 9cm in height.
