Full description
Pearlescent Blue earrings with an illusion swirl design and slight shimmer. This design has the illusion of a raised swirl detail, but is in fact completely smooth and wonderfully tactile. These earrings are hung from surgical steel 'fish hook' style ear wires (Sterling Silver also available). Earrings are a pointed oval shape, but please feel free to contact directly for other shapes, sizes and multiple orders (such as for Bridesmaids).
These beautiful earrings are unique, handmade, very lightweight and comfortable to wear. They are made from a special, professional standard polymer clay, densely packed with mica particles.
The surface and edges of these earrings are smooth, but have the illusion of having a raised / depressed pattern. As each piece moves and catches the light, the manipulated mica particles give the pattern a three dimensional effect.
This has been created by carefully manipulating the mica particles into a design, which catch the light and reflect it at different angles, and give an almost 3D image. These mica particles also give the piece a beautiful shimmer and depth.
