Red Creek Jasper is named after 'Red Creek' - the stream running through the mining area of China where the stone was discovered as recently as 2010, by miners who were searching for Turquoise.
It probably isn't a true Jasper, possibly it is a type of marble, but the material is still being tested.
It is also known as Cherry Creek Jasper, Red River Jasper, Chinese Picasso Stone or New Picasso Jasper.
It is a beautifully patterned and colourful stone, with shades of olive green, rust, mustard yellow, grey and cream.
The earthy tones are full of warmth and energy.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Each earring features a 3mm copper bead, and a 12mm Red Creek Jasper square, topped with a pair of 3mm pure copper rounds, surrounding a 12x3mm copper tube.
Each Jasper square is different - on both sides - with an array of muted earth colours of grey, green, cream, red-brown and amber and interesting patterns and markings.
The last two photos show the two different sides of the Jasper squares.
The copper beads bring out the warm tones of the stone.
These drop earrings measure approximately 1.34 inches (3.5cm), excluding the wires.
Your earrings will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small gift bag.
