Sycamore is a lovely wood to work with and turns really smoothly, this piece was picked up from a local supplier. The bowl would make a great salad, serving bowl or a nice decoration.

Full description
Spalted Sycamore Serving / fruit bowl, 263 x 48mm (26.3 x 4.8cm) No. 188. A nice wide bottomed gently curving bowl with a wide rim and a bead on the inside edge. It has just a hint of spalting on the rim.
