Whether you are visiting colourful, floral gardens here in the UK or abroad, these lightweight fabric button dangle earrings are the perfect accessory for summer!
Created from Liberty of London cotton fabric called Flower show Midnight Garden. This pattern in plum and magenta pink shades has a scattered floral pattern, called Emily.
I’ve selected a pair of these daisy-type flowers and create two 23mm flat back buttons, with added toy filling for a nice dome.
An FSC approved Italian poplar plywood wooden disc was then secured to the reverse of the button.
I’ve simply sealed the wood with specialist microcrystalline wax to let the natural grain of the wood shine through.
Silver plated leaf shape bails were secured with jeweller’s grade glue to the back of each earring and I’ve added silver plated stainless-steel earring hooks with ball and scroll detail.
Stainless steel is hypoallergenic and great for those with sensitive skin.
The total drop length of these stunning statement earrings is approximately 4.5cm.
Perfect for wearing to summer parties and soirees; a good size to make a small statement, but lightweight enough to wear all day.
