Leather wallet is the perfect gift. It boasts 4 card slots and a cash slot deep enough to take £20 notes.
The Oscar wallet is handcrafted using a rich deep blue veg tanned Buttero leather from the world renowned Conceria Walpier tannery on the outer of the wallet. The inner is Conceria Walpier Buttero Museum, a hand dyed leather using a technique that gives the leather a mottled deep sea blue colour.
Both are smooth, full grain leathers from the luxury Italian tannery and are a joy to handle.
Every aspect of the process is crafted by hand, cutting, punching, saddle stitching, bevelling and burnishing. The wallet is hand sewn using traditional saddle stitching with Italian slam waxed thread in red for superior strength. The edges are burnished to seal the leather so it retains its natural oils and won’t dry out. Because Buttero is a full grain leather, it means the hide has not been buffed or sanded to remove any marks so colourings and texture will vary from piece to piece as all are unique and with care should last a lifetime.
