This piece started life as a completely different staff, it was screaming to be a Druid staff. So I set to work turning it into what it always should have been. This is a rather plain, sturdy stave, made rather distinctive by the addition of the leather strap tied with a figure of 8 knot, adorned with Hazel bangles, and finished with the beautiful domed top.

Full description
Hazel staff with Blackthorn 'bangles' on a black leather wrist strap. The crown of the staff has been hand shaped to a silky smooth quadrant dome. The entire piece has been finished with sheen, mat clear varnish to preserve the natural beauty of the Hazel bark. Perfect for Pagan rites, Staff of office, Alter tool, Wizard or Mage. 61 inches (1.5m) long, 1 1/4 inches (3cm) at the top, tapering to 1 1/8th (2.7cm) inches.
Carefully harvested from the Cambridgeshire Fens, seasoned for two full years, and lovingly hand prepared for a new owner.
I apologise for the postage costs, this is due to the length of the staff, I've done my best in subsidising it somewhat.
