Full description

--Please note that this piece can only be delivered within the Glasgow area--

Signed, framed, stamped and hand titled set of four prints based on illustrations by Mark McPhelim.

The Bird. The Tree. The Fish. The Bell.

The four main symbols of Glasgow’s official coat of arms:

Here is the bird that never flew.

Here is the tree that never grew.

Here is the fish that never swam.

Here is the bell that never rang.

Each icon is individually highlighted and positioned within a four aperture mount.

Legend tells us that St Mungo (formerly St Kentigern), who is Glasgow’s patron saint, used the power of prayer to bring life to the bird, the tree, the fish and the bell!

A timeless piece in muted neutral colours, celebrating Glasgow’s proud foundations and history.

Complete size: 68cm (w) x 23cm (d) (approx)

Frame colour: Black
