I’ve been finishing off these bees on honeycomb so hope you like them.
The honeycombs have been made using a selection of different shades of amber stained glass with some great textures. The bees has been made from yellow sea glass and clear double glue chop glass for the wings.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together before being washed again. Patina has been applied to the stripes on the bee to blacken them.
The honeycomb measures 16 cms high x 14 cms wide.
I have attached two rings and a length of fishing line for hanging purposes and will supply a window hook so it can be hung as soon as received.
Please remember to wet the plunger before pushing firmly onto the window.
