'Yarrow in Harvest Jug' by Susie Hamilton
Inspired by my memories of hot, dry September days in the Suffolk countryside when the farmers were brining in the harvest. I loved painting each tiny Yarrow flower and am amazed at how many different colours are on just one stem. In 19th Century England, Farmers Arms jugs like this one were used to celebrate a good harvest.
