created from monoprints on Sumi rice paper, which is quite strong despite being very thin, so I am experimenting with adding hand stitching to the prints to give interest and definition.

Full description
This piece is created from monoprints on Sumi rice paper combined with hand stitching. It is mounted in black, and framed in a standard white 10 x 8 inch frame.
The monoprints were printed by hand using red, blue and green inks. the hand stitching is in red, green and purple.
