Full description

This linen patchwork quilt was made by me in my home studio in North Wales.

The size of the quilt is approximately 120cm x 100cm.

The quilt was sewed and quilted by machine and the binding was finished by hand.

The main colour is dark blue and the contrasting details are mustard yellow, orange and lime green.

The top of the quilt is 100% linen and the wadding and backing fabric are made from organic cotton.

The backing fabric is blue and white gingham.

The quilt was washed after it was finished, so it has a crinkly look, which is normal for a quilt.

This quilt would be perfect as a lap blanket, sofa throw, a kids bed quilt or even as a wall hanging.

Care: gentle wash in cool water, reshape after wash and dry.

I try to only use sustainably sourced fabrics and trims for all my projects. They are second hand, upcycled, deadstock or, if brand new, produced in a way, that's less harmfull to the environment (organicly grown cotton, European linen, hemp).

Plastic free packaging.
