Full description
This necklace has two pendants that can be worn together or separately.
A long teardrop of azurite chrysocolla has been simply wire wrapped, this has been teamed with a fine silver ammonite fossil pendant.
The stone pendant has horizontal stripes of dark blue and green, it also has flecks of golden pyrite that catch the light.
It put me in mind of the ocean and sedimentary layers, which made it the perfect partner for a little fossil ammonite.
The fine silver ammonite was made using a real ammonite as the master. It is one sided, so sits flatter against the body and stone pendant. The bail and rings are sterling silver.
I have hung the pendants on a 20” curb chain.
All the silver has been oxidised dark in the recesses then polished.
The teardrop stone pendant measures just over 5.5cm long with the jump ring and is 1.5cm at its widest.
The ammonite is 2.5cm long with jump ring and is about 12mm wide.
Your necklace will be sent by RM special delivery, presented in a gift box.
