Full description
This is a 'one-of-a-kind' bag made from gorgeous, forest green 'Harris Tweed®' that was handwoven by Murdo Macleod (Isle of Harris Tweed). The rich green is the perfect background for the Japanese style floral print I've used both as a feature panel and for the loops which attach the bamboo handles. The back of the bag bears the 'Orb Mark' label which guarantees the authenticity of the 'Harris Tweed' - the only cloth in the world protected by its own Act of Parliament..
The bag is lined with leaf green cotton and incorporates interfacing and fleece between the outer and lining to give it structure, with a concealed base of plastic canvas to keep the bottom of the bag in shape.
The interior of the bag is surprisingly roomy and includes a slip pocket, a zipped pocket with beaded pull, a key hook and a magnetic fastening.
The bag measures approximately 32 cm wide by 6 cm deep at the base and stands about 25 cm high to the top edge. From the base to the to of the handles it is approximately 42 cm.
