I live in Cornwall and this piece is very much inspired by the sea.
Charlestown is just a short walk from where this piece was made and is the home of the beautiful tall ships which you may have seen featured in The Pirates of the Caribbean and Poldark. Living in such an area you can't help but absorb the influence of the nautical landscape and this is reflected in the colours of this bookmark as well as the use of an anchor charm.
